After studying and researching Unity 1, my research topic has shifted from self-exploration to exploring the mutual influence between people. The reason for the difference is that I realized during the research process that my growth cannot be separated from the influence of people around me, and I have a great interest in the different atmospheres that arise between people. Visualizing the emotions and emotions generated between people is the theme I want to express. In terms of material use, I will mainly use watercolor as the main form of expression. I believe that the diffusion characteristics of watercolor are like emotions, full of uncontrollability, and can be more exciting in my painting process or image.
My research at this stage is starting to panic because I feel like I am facing too many choices, I want to express too much, and I haven't sorted out my thoughts. I started trying creative methods that I hadn't tried before, trying new materials. I am used to pausing when I feel lost and taking a break for a period of time before looking at my artwork. I experienced the process of painting at that time and looked for any parts that inspired me. Now it seems that I have successfully found the direction.
Regarding Unity 3, I will present 1-2 pairs of 57x80cm paper watercolors, and I have plans to process the edges of the paper watercolors by using stone plastic clay to create frames. In the autumn research, I will maintain the theme and break some constraints on the original basis of the picture, leveraging more material characteristics. In terms of data research, I would like to include some analysis of film and television works, which would be helpful for my research on emotional themes, such as Paprika (2006 film). Paprika is a Japanese adult animated surrealistic science fan, psychological roller film directed by Satoshi Kon 2) The film is based on the 1993 novel of the same. The movie's editing style and plot, in my opinion, both aim to convey the subconscious and the outside world, and I think that the subconscious's operations are intimately tied to the feelings and thoughts of people. Therefore, I believe that analyzing this movie may be helpful to me. I currently prefer to use the form of an article in my speech.
